Welcome to Maple’s Cookery School!
In DT, we have been learning about seasonal foods, where different food comes from and what make a healthy diet, using all the food groups. We also learned how to prepare different vegetables.
We researched and tasted many different vegetables and then planned our healthy pasta bake dish. Every child then helped to prepare and make the dish using their cutting, mixing, stirring and grating skills.
We then tasted our six different dishes-tuna and sweetcorn, chicken and broccoli, sausage and peppers, vegetarian with courgette, broccoli and peppers as well as ham and cream cheese. They were DELICIOUS!!
