At Eccleston Primary – we’re top of the school

We're Year 6! We proud to be the top of the school, setting the perfect example to all of the younger pupils in school.

There's 29 of us in year 6 and the staff that work with us are called Mrs Cranage, Mr Frost and Mrs Catterall.

We have lots to look forward to in Year 6, the main one being the residential to the Waterpark!

Seeing The Spark!

Our topic this half term is ‘Seeing The Spark’!  We will be learning all how light, we will be:

  • recognising that light appears to travel in straight lines

  • using the idea that light travels in straight lines to explain that objects are seen because they give out or reflect light into the eye

  • explaining that we see things because light travels from light sources to our eyes or from light sources to objects and then to our eyes

  • using the idea that light travels in straight lines to explain why shadows have the same shape as the objects that cast them.

We’ve already got to work on our objectives so why not ask us some questions!

What a start to the year!

Year 6 have had a fantastic start to the year!  We are excited for all the things to come this year. Here are some photos of us in action!
