Welcome to Year 5!
This year we have some exciting topics that we are going to be diving into!
Our first topic is all about Space!
We are totally hooked on our class novel ‘Twister’! This is forming our Literacy lessons to develop our writing skills in character descriptions and reports.
In Maths, we have looked at place value of large numbers up to 1,000,000.
We have many talents in Rowan, and we love doing PE. Currently, we are practising our Dance skills on Thursdays.

Welcome to Year 5!
This year we have some exciting topics that we are going to be diving into!
Our first topic is all about the ‘Rainforest’!
We regularly use Seesaw (an app to upload the work pupil have completed) to be innovative and forward thinking. An aim of ours will be to use other apps to develop and produce some amazing work for all to see, so watch this space!
We are totally hooked on our class novel ‘Twister’! This is forming our Literacy lessons to develop our writing skills in character descriptions and brochures.
In Maths, we have looked at place value of large numbers up to 1,000,000 and decimal numbers up to 3d.p.
We have many talents in Rowan, and we love doing PE. Currently, we are practising our crickets skills on a Monday and Rugby skills on a Wednesday.
